Degree Programme in Tourism and Recreation
Whether your dream is to own and manage a hotel or restaurant, opportunities are almost endless in tourism and recreation, the most global of all industries. Our mission is to be a leading provider of tourism management education for national and international students studying in Poland. To be successful is our target and good preparation is essential for your rewarding future career which you can achieve at Rzeszow University.

Why study Tourism?
Europe is the world’s region most visited by tourists, six EU countries are in the world’s top destinations for holidaymakers. Tourism involves a lot of services and professions, linked to many other economic activities and policy areas, other industry sectors such as hospitality, transport, entertainment. Tourism is rapidly growing international business, and every day more and more places are becoming tourist destinations. This dynamic and expanding industry can provide great opportunities for an exciting career, for example you could be working for airlines or governments in planning tourism resources, promotion of tourist destination, marketing and many, many more.

Accommodation is not high, and we have few buildings to choose from. The cost of living in Poland is not expensive.

Programme in Tourism:
The University of Rzeszow participates in the Erasmus and CEEPUS Programmes and Foundations of Alexander Humboldt, DAAD and NATO. The University also has an Erasmus University Charter thanks to our students have the opportunity to go abroad within the Erasmus exchange programme. Every year our students can participate in summer and winter sport camps where can experience different forms of sport activities such as swimming, sailing, horse riding, skiing, snowboarding and many more. In the third year of study students held compulsory practices in a travel agency or hotel facilities. They can also receive a tour guide qualification after successfully passed exams.
